Nick Kozak, a graduate of the MA/IMMJ predecessor course on photojournalism, has won ‘The Spirit of the Workshop Award‘ at the 63rd Missouri Photo Workshop.
The award “is given annually to a photographer who not only creates an exceptional body of work throughout the week, but also one who totally embraces the philosophy of MPW, seeking to not only improve his/her own skills but to help fellow participants as well.”
Nick’s project – “Laughing as the Curtain Falls” – documents the care being given 99 year old Irene Powell in her final days.
